Thanks to its location on the edge of a forest, Montchavin provides great skiing for all weather conditions. On sunny days, you will head towards the upper slopes of La Plagne to enjoy the incredible variety of pistes up to 3200m while you will love skiing in the trees when it is snowy or cloudy. Montchavin is just one lift away from the Vanoise Express, leaving you free to decide whether you will spend your day skiing in La Plagne or travel to Les Arcs.

Set at 1250m, its relatively low altitude makes it perfect for families or any groups with older members or young children, who will feel more comfortable at that level. There is no need to worry about snow cover since the slopes descending to Montchavin have been amply provided with snow canons.

Outside of skiing time, Montchavin has all the amenities you will need for a successful holiday: bars & restaurants as well as a nightclub and a cinema. There is also a supermarket and a boulangerie. The village is car free and offers children’s facilities, such as a nursery, children’s club and child-minding service.
